Have you seen it yet?

Of course I am talking about The Dark Knight. If you haven't I feel sorry for you and you should stop reading this now because it contains spoilers.

The Dark Knight was the greatest movie I have ever seen. This is my personal opinion. The Godfather movies were to hard for me to understand the actors and so I found them boring.

This movie had it all great actors, great plot, and great action. All it was missing was a beautiful woman to rescue. Maggie Gyllenhaal does not count.

I found the joker to be very dark and disturbing but also quite humorous. The pencil trick was my favorite scene. My favorite joker one liner was when he said he was a dog chasing a car, he wouldn't know what to do with it if he caught it.

I'm not to sure I liked the ending. I know it wrapped some stuff up but left a bunch of loose ends hanging out there. It makes me really want the 3rd movie to come out soon but I bet its at least 2 years before we see that. I personally was shocked when Harvey Dent "died". This of course does not mean that Two-Face isn't still out there. We never did see a casket at the funeral and it was called a Memorial Service saying he died in the Hospital fire. The whole joker as a nurse was hilarious and disturbing. Man I'm going to miss Heath Ledger's acting in this.

Great movie I give it a perfect 10/10

Lots of randomness

So I am feeling really random right now as a million thoughts stream through my mind at once. Hopefully this post will have some order to it.

First off, have you ever listened to Hotel California. Obviously that is a stupid question, if you haven't do because its a good song and you deserve to hear a good song. BUT what really gets me going is how damn long the introduction is. It really pisses me off and its pointless and could be skipped and probably is on some radio stations that have the sense to avoid that long ass guitar solo at the beginning. And then another long ass solo in the middle. Now like I said earlier I do enjoy this song but sometimes it gets a little ridiculous.

The Dark Knight. I still haven't seen it but in less than 4 hours I will be sitting in a theater seat with a sticky floor below me trying to swallow my shoes, a bag of popcorn, and a big ass pop at hands reach being blown away but what I know will be one of the greatest movies EVER. (imdb.com has it at #4 all time as of right now but of course this will go down as more reviews come in and as dumbasses give it low scores just to be cockmonglers and rottentomatoes.com has it inching its way back up after falling to 89% and last I checked it was at 94%).

Another side my sister is deathly afraid of the joker. I find this quite humorous as I find no fear at all with the character. Of course, after the movie this may change.

I read on some website about a guy he shoved his arm down a sharks throat, past its menacing man-eating jaws to retrieve a grappling hook that had stuck so gratefully gotten stuck in its digestive track. Now I am sorry but I have heard stories about sharks killing people. I have no understanding as why some man (who was a veteranarian) would ever want to save a shark. I say just give it a shot and let it die.

Facebook

Facebook - the lifeblood of many people trying to stay connected with their friends from near and far. To join groups and make friends with people you don't even know just to be able to have another person's information to look at.

I personally do not do that last bit and I refuse to become friends with people who I am not truly friends with. What this usually means is that if I accept someone's friend request than that means that we are actually friends and there is a TRUE friendship there.

Another thing I noticed about me and my Facebook is how excited I get when I see the red box show up in the lower right hand corner. I don't know about you but this usually makes my dull, boring day at work a little better.

I saw WANTED this weekend. It was okay. It wasn't overly great by any means but I did not hate it either. This is a movie I would recommend to rent because I do not see it having a very high rewatchability.

The Dark Knight in less than a week.

Random Ramblings

So its Friday and I have read a lot of Internet articles while at work. First off, Eric Shanteau is one of my heroes and I really hope he wins at the Olympics.

Also, I just read an article stating that Brett Favre filed a formal release request from the Packers which means to me that he is not done playing but won't play for Green Bay next year. Perhaps he will go and play for the Vikings because all they are short of a Super Bowl Contender is a solid QB. It would also be a good stab at the Packers Organization for having their heads up their asses and not holding on to him.

I am also starting to make my own corn hole game (not joking, this is actually one of the names for the game) also known as bags game and many other names.

One week until THE DARK KNIGHT comes out. For fun, view all the original trailers from the first movies for a good laugh.

The Dark Knight and Hancock

I cannot wait for this movie to come out. I have heard so many amazing things about it. Thoughts of Heath Ledger being up for an Oscar makes me want to see it even more. I read that some theathers are having three different showings the night it comes out at 12, 3 and 6. No matter what its going to be brilliant.

On the topic of movies, I went and saw Hancock. It was much better than I originally anticipated it being. It pulled at many different emotions and was much more than just a typical guys movie. Again, Will Smith steals the show on 4th of July.

Wall-E

Wall-E was much better movie than I originally anticipated it being. I was a little skeptical when they said there wasn't much dialogue in it but somebody was mistaken. It seemed as though there was enough dialogue to carry the movie from beginning to end. I believe that Pixar was going for the "big" effect. It seems like they were using as much space as they possible could. Very neat effect. Also good pokes at society as well. Don't want to give anything away. You just have to see it. Highly recommended

NEW Video Games

I've been too busy to really get much playing time into it but Top Spin 3 is so far fairly realistic which is a lot better than any other tennis game to date. The graphics are amazing even on my crappy TV that I play on. Also using the right stick to serve is interesting and I really suck at it. This means that its going to take some time before I am any good at it. I really like this aspect in video games. I hate that games that someone can just pick up really really fast and be good at it. I like games that take some background knowledge before being any good at them such as Skate.

I also got a Wii Classic Controller and downloaded two mario games. Super Mario World and Mario 3. Even though I beat Mario World, it took about the whole 1st semester of last year to do so. This game is very entertaining for me to play as well as those around me as it is very frustating when I die. I also die a lot.

Final note here, so far Wall-E has a 94% rating on Rotten Tomatoes
